Peer Mentoring Program
Bullying happens everyday in schools across America. Many children who experience bullyig or witness bullying do not report it; only making the problem worse. Although there is no immediate solution to ending bullying, there are ways in which you can help prevent and end bullying. One way to combat bullying is through collaboration. If students work together and share there experiences and advice, victims will have a better idea of how to handle a situation.
HOW IT WORKS

By pairing students up with a student one year older than them, they gain advice and knowledge from somebody who has already been through what they are going through.
Students would be assigned a peer at the beginning of the year. The partnership would last either all year or the students would be reassigned alfway through.
The pairs would meet once a week, The meeting could be during a scheduled period at school, after school meetings or even out of school meetings. The students would discuss things going on in their lives; both related to school or unrelated to school.
